5 out of 5 stars It Works   July 26, 2010

Used it twice so far - mostly on roads, but definitely hit a few decent bumps. Never loosened or seemed like the iPhone would fall out. Rather than mounting in the center, I did it over to the side, near the handle, which seemed to make it easier to use the iPhone cyclocomputer app while riding - less range of motion to hit a button. I did leave some lag on the straps, just in case it loosens up after some settling/usage, but it seems really tight on the handlebar for now. The neoprene adhesive sheet that it comes with allows you to get a very good grip on the handbars.

5 out of 5 stars Solid, stable mount   July 10, 2010

Easy to install, easy to use. I've been using it for about 3-4 weeks and my iPhone hasn't hit the pavement yet, so I believe this mount is doing its job.

4 out of 5 stars Works great.   June 25, 2010

Works great so far. I can tell the top clip may not last too long if you pull it far back alot to take your phone off and on but its great for the price.

5 out of 5 stars Works Great!   May 30, 2010
R. Lin (Philadelphia, PA)
Just received this today, and went for a 2.5 hour ride on my hybrid - mostly on paved roads, but with hitting a dozen potholes and serious bumps.

Pros:
1. Easy to install (yet it is not meant to be moved from one bike to another).
2. Though the installation seemed sketchy (it is held onto the bicycle with two zip ties), it holds on nicely and does not move.
3. It is very easy to use - the part holding the phone comes off, and only the small base is left on the bike when not in use - almost non-existent.
4. The part holding the phone is sturdy, I tested it at home and it's virtually impossible for the phone to come out unintentionally.
5. The parts connecting to the bicycle have different layers of soft rubber, so though the phone is held tightly, there is still some shock-absorbance in the mount to mitigate damaging the phone by too much shaking and hitting road bumps.

Cons:
1. Only comes with one pair of zip ties, so if you want to change its location or adjust it after installation, you need to cut the originals and reinstall with new ones.
2. Zip tie installation makes it highly stealable.
3. Part that connects to bike has a semi-circular shape that fits on to different angles of handle bars, but does not vary in thickness. I wanted to install onto my Specialized Sirrus stem, but it wasn't wide enough so ended up using the handle bar (which was pretty comfortable).

Bottom Line:
I totally recommend this! I just got a second one for my husband..

2 out of 5 stars Can't handle cobblestones   May 22, 2010

Got this product today and mounted it on my Road Bike which was easy to do. However, leaving by neighborhood for my 1st ride while crossing a little cobblestone sidewalk my iphone flew out. I will add a rubberband or hair band around it for my next ride.
