Product Description
The RAM Zinc coated U-Bolt Rail Base consists of the 1" diameter ball and socket system with RAM Composite Cradle for the Garmin GPSMAP 60C Series. The Rail Base has a 1.0" diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Zinc Coated metal U-Bolt and nuts included will fit a circular rail with diameter from 1/2" to 1.0".

Used this to mount my Garmin to my ATV. ATV was wrecked and after doing 3 flips down a hill the mount was not broken even though it was on the side of the handlebar that got bent up the worst. I now have it mounted in my brand new Polaris Ranger.
The adjustability of the mount is great. The only thing I don't like is it won't hold my GPS if I have the Garmin cover on it but that's to be expected I guess.

If you are questioning the use of this mount on a motorcycle...buy it.
I was a wondering if this mount would work on my Harley Sportster (a shaker for sure) I must say that it works great. I can read the map on my hand held GPSr unit with no problem. The mounting system adjust in every way so there should be no problem with adjusting your unit to suit your needs. I found it easy to install and adjustment on the go are quite easy to make. Nothing negative to report in my experience.

After having broke three Garmin bar mounts I discovered the Ram handlebar mount. Holds gps unit nicely, easy to remove at the end of a ride. Flexable enough to take an occasional hard knock. It's a bit bulky but worth the duribility it gives the user. Would recommend this product to anyone.

I got this to use on my motorcycle and it has outlasted the motorcycle. I used the GPS as a speedometer for an older motorcycle that did not have a working speedometer.
Last summer I wiped out going about 25 MPH. When I stopped shaking I found the GPS still attached and in perfect working order. I wish I could say the same for the motorcycle.
