Everything I needed, fits my Garmin 255 perfectly and still can go in my cargo pants pocket or more importantly in my carry-on backpack without worry.

This unit is not really "universal". I bought it for my Tom Tom which barely squeezes in. (It's just a tad thick for the case.) The case is nice and hard but the zipper is flimsy. I imagine it is made from nylon for airport security or something but it is not very strong. For a few dollars it is okay.

This case is made out of a hard nice material and the price is really good but it's just a little tight. It's hard to close the zipper because it's a little small but it will close if you use a little effort. It would have been a 5 star if it is a little bigger.
