 BUY ONLY IF DASH IS COMPLETELY FLAT July 31, 2010

Both of the vehicles I drive don't have completely flat dashes. That pretty much rendered this product useless. Due to the weight it will not be returned.
In attempts to use this product with a TomTom, the windshield suction cup hardly stayed attached to the base of this product.
Also on the TomTom I own, the power cord is attached at the bottom of the unit. Due to the how the GPS set on this pad, it was nearly impossible to have it plugged in while on this. In order to have it plugged in, the GPS had to be tilted so far back, it was nearly impossible to see the screen.

This item is too stiff and needs a dash that has a large flat area. My dash curves down and this item won't bend to conform.

Good Product! It allow the gps to be moved very easy and quickly. I like the product very much.

We had the doughnut shaped bean bag friction mat, but our GPS never quite worked well on it. I kept saying "Why doesn't someone invent one of these for my GPS?" Looks like they did. Fits our Tom Tom One no problem. If your GPS is not quite fitting into your doughnut friction mat, get this one. Sell your other.
