Great purchase May 21, 2010 Juan C. Quiroga Olano It is a very versatile and solid product. I like a lot that you can easyly mount and dismount it on your way.
It gets the job done, but it could be better. April 25, 2010 M. Williams (Seattle, WA) One problem I had is that the strap is not long enough to mount onto the part I wanted to. Another problem is that once the GPS is on the ball, it tends to wobble a lot while riding, but I've read that using rubber bands to hold it in place will work as a temp fix. But overall, I think it's worth the money because its cheap and gets the job done. You could probably find a better GPS bike mount for $50, but if you're not a big spender, then this mount will do just fine.
Good idea but it just doesn't work March 11, 2010 Golf Nut (Florida) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This item seemed like a good idea, for the most part it appears to be well made, had a camera attachment which was interesting. The problem is that it just dosen't secure to the handle bars tight enough. As soon as you hit the least vibration the thing rotates and your gps is looking at the ground. The rubber pull strap does not lock into the lever. The plastic release/lock lever gets easily fatigued after a couple of releases and no longer locks.
If the mount had a secure screw mount it woudl be fine, the rubber band is a failure. Would not recommend this mount.
do not purchase if you love your Nuvi February 11, 2010 Elbert Cuenca (Manila, Philippines) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I used this on my bike just once.
Within the first hour, I hit a bump on the road and off and flying went my Nuvi.
Slightly damaged (cosmetics) I placed the Nuvi in my bag.
Within the next 2 hours, the mount itself got lost. I don't remember where or how, but it was no longer attached to my handlebar when I looked.
This product does not stay in place.
Do not buy.
perfect fit January 27, 2010 Small Shopper (MN) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this to hold my GPS unit on my cycle. Most of what I found in the market place was a semi perminent install. This unit goes on and comes off very easily. I feel that it is sturdy enough to work just fine on the motorcycle and allows me to take it off and put it in the bag when not in use.
